Make your first move.

Three steps from a confusing course list to a plan you can bring to advising.

  1. Find your school

Pick your college and major. Every requirement comes straight from the bulletin.

  2. Check off your courses

Mark what you have taken. Courses light up the moment their prerequisites are met.

  3. Follow your plan

Get a four-year plan that meets every prerequisite and bring it to your advisor.

Advisors get the meeting back.

Students arrive already knowing what they can take next. Advisors pull up the same map and spend the appointment on goals, internships and careers instead of reading prerequisites aloud.

  • Built from your bulletin, major by major
  • Checked with your advisors and renewed every catalog year

Questions, answered.

Is Map My Degree an official university tool?

No. It is an independent planning tool built from each school’s published bulletin. It helps students and advisors prepare; it does not replace a degree audit or an advisor’s sign-off.

Where does the course information come from?

From the official undergraduate bulletin: program requirements, course descriptions, prerequisites and gen ed lists. Every course links back to its bulletin page.

Do students need an account?

No. The courses a student checks off and the plan they build stay in their own browser and are never sent to us.

Which schools are mapped?

The University of Southern Indiana’s business college is mapped first, on its 2026–2027 bulletin. More colleges are being added.

How does a college get its majors mapped?

Email us. We map your majors from your bulletin, check them with your advisors, and update them every catalog year.

What does it cost?

It is free for students. Pricing for colleges and advising offices will come with the first pilots.

See the path. Then take it.
